Blooms for the 150th!
The Friends gratefully acknowledge the very generous financial support of our Blooms book donors.

Friends respond to the City’s planning department on CEF hospital lands. Friends continue to urge protection of the Farm’s public spaces in a statement, in letters to the NCC (see response) and Minister McKenna (see response), and in interviews.
“It’s a research facility. It’s a public garden. It’s a heritage site.
We’d like to see it stay that way.”
The Friends are working on a donor project to recreate a boundary forest at the western edge of the Farm. The project is almost finished! The public has until July 31, 2018, to help complete this important project. Learn more at Merivale Shelterbelt.
