What’s Happening Now

Sir John Carling site for new Civic Hospital

Join us for the Friends’ Guided Arboretum Tree Tour Sun Sep 17. Stay in touch with the Summer Newsletter and September Farm Notes.

Friends respond to the City’s planning department on zoning and official plan amendments for the future hospital lands on the Farm.

Friends continue to urge protection of the Farm’s public spaces in a statement, in letters to the NCC (see response) and Minister McKenna (see response), and in interviews.

“It’s a research facility. It’s a public garden. It’s a heritage site.
We’d like to see it stay that way.”
