Harvest Gold Linden

tilleul ‘Harvest Gold’

Tilia mongolica ‘Harvest Gold’

Linden trees are frequently planted in parks and streets of the city, but Mongolian Linden is a smaller version that can also fit into small landscapes. The Mongolian species has an unusual peeling bark. In addition, this Harvest Gold variety has fragrant yellow flowers and red petioles, and its leaves turn a lovely gold colour in the fall. This tree grows to about 10 metres in height. The tree is located about 40 metres west of a sidewalk that goes from Building 72 to Building 74 in the Arboretum.
