Inquiries regarding the Central Experimental Farm, Ornamental Gardens and Dominion Arboretum

We wear many hats at the Friends of the Farm, (gardening, book and plant selling, art gallery, tea serving, garden lecturing), but there are many inquiries that are not related to the Friends of the Farm volunteers and their activities.

We are here to promote and educate, to maintain the gardens, and to help people enjoy the Gardens and Arboretum. But we also field a lot of calls, emails and inquiries for the Central Experimental Farm itself. While we’re happy to do so, we hope people can learn that we are volunteers, working with the staff of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), those in charge of the Ornamental Gardens and the Dominion Arboretum. Many other issues are beyond our control.

Please see the list below for places to inquire about many things that people ask us about… these links take you off the Friends of the Farm website, to the appropriate government department or agency responsible.
