WHEN: Sunday, October 16, 9:30 a.m.

Please note: Our registration policy has changed. Registration is for one individual only. Each attendee must be registered separately. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Reminder: Given the challenges of Covid-19, masks are optional but all attendees are asked to try to maintain physical distance with other attendees, except members of the same household, or wear a mask if that is not possible.

WHERE: Meet at Building 72 in the Arboretum at the Central Experimental Farm, east of the Prince of Wales roundabout.

WHAT: Fall brings a new dimension to the trees in the Arboretum. Reds, yellows, purples and browns emerge as the green fades away and other pigments take over. Some of these colours become more spectacular as the weather gets colder and puts the trees under stress, until frost comes and the wind takes the leaves away.

Attendance is limited to 40 to enable physical distancing.

Tour leader: Robert Glendinning

Register: Although the tours are free and open to the public, you must register in advance to attend. Please note that free parking at the Arboretum and Farm is becoming more limited. Paid parking is available at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Museum, a short walk from the Arboretum.

COST: Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted during the tour.

INFO: Email info@friendsofthefarm.ca with questions or any issues with registration.
