Your Dreams and Nature’s Needs:

What do you need in your garden? What do you dream of having? Candace will discuss garden design, plant selection and purpose. She will look at the pros and cons of vegetable gardens, annual plantings, perennial beds, shrub borders, gardening trends and traditional designs. An overarching concern will be how styles contribute positively to the environment and how garden design is changing to align more closely with the needs of wildlife.

Candace Dressler: Candace learned to garden with her grandparents in the prairies 40 years ago and hasn’t stopped. Since retiring from the IT industry, she is a very active volunteer with the Master Gardeners of Ottawa-Carleton, current President of the Gloucester Horticulture Society and has been a Director for the Ontario Horticulture Association.
