WHEN: Sunday, September 15, 9:30 a.m. Please note: Registration is for one individual only. Each attendee must be registered separately. The tour will take place RAIN OR SHINE.

WHERE: Meet at Building 72 in the Dominion Arboretum

WHAT: A tour to celebrate how much we get from trees: with emphasis on taste and food. Various trees and shrubs of the arboretum will be discussed from a culinary and horticultural perspective. Historical uses, uses in various cultures, current interest, and cautionary tales will all be touched on.

Attendance is limited to 40 people. If spaces fill up, you may ask to have your name added to a waiting list by sending us an email.

Register: Although the tours are free and open to the public, you must register in advance to attend by filling out this ONLINE FORM. Please note that free parking at the Arboretum and Farm is becoming more limited. Paid parking is available at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Museum, a short walk from the Arboretum (entrance off Prince of Wales Drive).

COST: Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted during the tour. Places are limited, so first come, first served.
