This catalogue of all the roses in the Heritage Rose Garden includes the cultivar name, type, height, bloom frequency, colour, shape, fragrance and other characteristics. Click on the name for a photo (by Edythe Falconer).

Bed Two

The Gallicas are another important group of Old Garden Roses (pre-1867). They are characterized by one blooming period per season and intensely coloured blooms. They sucker freely.

Rugosa hybrids are, in general, tough, disease and drought resistant roses.
