PLEASE NOTE: This tour is on Wednesday, not on the weekend. The event will proceed rain or shine.
WHERE: The tour will start at Building 72 in the Arboretum.
DETAILS: Bloom times are harder to predict now due to increased weather variability and climate change. The stops on this tour will depend on what trees are in bloom at the time, but will include both showy flowers like the magnolias and less conspicuous flowers like the oaks. There is much to be learned from all flowers, such as how some trees are male or female or both, and how flowers and pollination are key to tree survival. Come and enjoy the colours!
