WHERE: Meet at Building 72 in the Arboretum at the Central Experimental Farm, east of the Prince of Wales roundabout

DETAILS:

  • Spring is upon us and with that trees are leafing out and the Arboretum is coming back to life.
  • In this tour we will meet the trees that are early to join spring and those that wait till the last moment to leaf out.
  • With a special nod to the 150th Anniversary of Canada, we will seek out the provincial and territorial trees of Canada, all of which can be found at the Arboretum.
  • Come enjoy stately views of the Arboretum during the magnificent spring flush.
  • The tour leaders are Zoe Panchen and Eric Jones
  • Although the tours are free and open to the public, please register in advance
