  • Wild birds are currently facing a multitude of threats across North America, and many bird species are in decline. Master Gardener Julianne Labreche will review the most common threats and provide you with some positive ways to encourage birds to visit your garden. Julianne will be joined by Patty McLaughlin, Education and Public Engagement Coordinator for the Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre, who will bring a number of wild bird feeders and a sample of the appropriate seeds for each. Together, Patty and Julianne will answer your questions about gardening for the birds. Learn how to make your garden more bird friendly all year round!
