WHERE: The tour will start at the parking lot next to Building 72, which is the main building and parking lot for the Dominion Arboretum.
Description: This is a special joint tour with the Eastern Chapter of the Society of Nut Growers (ECSONG). The tour will include species of northern nut trees such as hickory, pecan, walnut, heartnut and nut tree hybrids or cultivars. Nut trees also include familiar local tree species such as oak, beech and hazel. Nuts are an important food source for local wildlife Given that it is mid-season, it is expected that nuts will still be visible on producing trees, prior to being collected by squirrels and birds.

Register: Although the tours are free and open to the public, you must register in advance
